Hello everybody, it is Drew, welcome to my recipe site. Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a special dish, bacon wrapped chicken livers. It is one of my favorites food recipes. This time, I am going to make it a little bit unique. This will be really delicious.
My version of rumaki which was allegedly first served at the Polynesian-themed Trader Vic's. I don't want to label my bacon-wrapped chicken livers as "authentic" rumaki though because there are no water chestnuts in them. I didn't deep fry them either. Once you try these in Italian Dressing you will love em!

Foods That Make You Happy
Many of us have been conditioned to think that comfort foods are terrible and must be avoided. Often, if your comfort food is essentially candy or other junk foods, this can be true. Other times, though, comfort foods can be totally nutritious and it’s good for you to eat them. There are several foods that, when you consume them, may improve your mood. If you are feeling a little bit down and need a happiness pick me up, try some of these.
Eggs, you may be astonished to find out, are great at fighting depression. You need to be sure, though, that what you make includes the yolk. The egg yolk is the most important part of the egg in terms of helping you cheer up. Eggs, the egg yolks in particular, are high in B vitamins. B vitamins can actually help you boost your mood. This is because they help your neural transmitters–the parts of your brain that dictate your mood–work better. Try eating some eggs to cheer up!
Make several trail mix of nuts or seeds. Your mood can be elevated by eating peanuts, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, etcetera. This is possible as these foods have a bunch of magnesium which promotes serotonin production. Serotonin is the “feel good” chemical that dictates to your brain how you feel all the time. The higher your serotonin levels, the more pleasant you will feel. Not just that, nuts, specifically, are a terrific protein source.
If you wish to battle depression, you should eat some cold water fish. Wild salmon, herring, mackerel, trout, and tuna are all full of omega-3 fatty acids and DHA. These are two substances that increase the quality and function of the gray matter in your brain. It’s true: consuming a tuna fish sandwich can greatly boost your mood.
Some grains are really great for repelling bad moods. Quinoa, millet, teff and barley are all truly excellent for helping increase your happiness levels. They help you feel full too which can really help to better your mood. Feeling famished can be awful! The reason these grains are so great for your mood is that they are not hard for your stomach to digest. They are simpler to digest than other foods which helps bring up your blood sugar levels and that, in turn, elevates your mood.
Your mood could actually be helped by green tea. You were simply expecting to read that, weren’t you? Green tea is rich in a certain amino acid known as L-theanine. Studies show that this specific amino acid can essentially stimulate brain waves. This helps focus your mental energy while at the same time calming your body. You knew that green tea helps you be a lot healthier. Now you know that applies to your mood as well!
As you can see, you don’t have to turn to junk food or foods that are terrible for you so you can feel better! Try some of these instead!
