This is possible because these foods have a bunch of magnesium which raises your production of serotonin. Serotonin is known as the “feel good” chemical and it tells your brain how you should be feeling at all times. The more serotonin you have, the more pleasant you are going to feel. Not only that, nuts, in particular, are a fantastic protein source.

These foods are easier to digest than others which helps jumpstart a rise in your glucose levels which in turn kicks up your mood to a happier place.
Green tea is fantastic for moods. You knew it had to be in here somewhere, right? Green tea is found to be chock-full of an amino acid called L-theanine. Studies have found that this particular amino acid can basically induce brain waves. This will improve your brain’s focus while simultaneously calming the rest of your body. You already knew that green tea helps you feel healthier. Now you know that it helps you to raise your moods as well!
